Duc Nguyen (The Gallery Owner) Me, and Todd Parker (Arlington Artist Alliance Board Member) at the reception.

It was great to meet some of my favorite collectors from Arlington and Washington D.C.!
Thanks to all for coming!

A good time was had by all!

I truly enjoyed this art opening!  It was hugely successful and the most fun I have had in an art gallery in months!

As Bryan Jernigan, the President of the Arlington Artists Alliance said, tonight was the culmination of a long-time dream of the Alliance - to kick off the co-op gallery. There is so much we can all be proud of: absolutely top-of-the-line artwork, a tremendous support network of friends and patrons, a host of incredible volunteers and such a hospitable host, Mr. Duc Nguyen, the gallery owner.

There were more people at this kickoff event than at any other Alliance event in recent memory. The guests included two County Board members, a member of the press from the Arlington Connection, the head art director from Washington-Lee High School and tons of important patrons.

I would like to personally thank everyone involved in this monumental effort - gallery manager, Jane McElvany Coonce, each volunteer who brought food, greeted guests, poured wine, the lovely musicians, Todd Parker and his crew who posted each artist's name above their respective works, just to name a few. But it wouldn't have been possible without the outreach more than six months ago from gallery owner, Duc Nguyen, who has been instrumental in getting the ball rolling on what promises to be a growing and thriving venue that offers so much more than a home for Arlington artists.

If you haven't had a chance to stop by the gallery, I encourage you to do so. It is truly something I am proud of and the artwork is nothing short of phenomenal!
